DIGITALISASI UMKM, EDUKASI MENABUNG SEJAK DINI DAN SOSIALISASI PEMBUKUAN SEDERHANA DI KELURAHAN GEDUNG JOHOR, MEDAN

Abstrak : Tujuan dari program pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kapasitas pelaku Usaha Mikro, Kecil, dan Menengah (UMKM) dalam pengelolaan keuangan serta adaptasi terhadap perkembangan teknologi digital. Metode pelaksanaan menggunakan pendekatan partisipatif berbasis pelatihan interaktif yang menggabungkan presentasi, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, dan praktik langsung. Dalam kegiatan sosialisasi pembukuan, peserta dilatih mencatat transaksi keuangan secara manual maupun digital menggunakan template sederhana, sementara pada program digitalisasi, peserta dilatih membuat akun bisnis, mengelola toko daring, serta memproduksi konten promosi melalui media sosial dan marketplace. Hasil pelaksanaan menunjukkan antusiasme dan keterlibatan tinggi dari peserta. Sebanyak 83% peserta memahami konsep pembukuan sederhana dan 71% dan mulai menerapkannya secara rutin, sementara 91% peserta program digitalisasi berhasil memiliki akun bisnis aktif di platform digital dan sebagian besar mengalami peningkatan penjualan. Faktor pendukung utama keberhasilan program adalah tingginya motivasi peserta, dukungan dari pemerintah kelurahan dan komunitas lokal, serta metode pelatihan yang aplikatif dan kontekstual.

Abstract
Abstract : The primary objective of this community engagement program is to enhance the capacity of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in financial management and adaptation to digital technology advancements. The implementation method employed a participatory approach based on interactive training that combined presentations, group discussions, case studies, and hands-on practice. In the financial record-keeping session, participants were trained to record financial transactions manually and digitally using simple templates, while in the digitalization program, participants were guided to create business accounts, manage online stores, and produce promotional content through social media and e-commerce platforms. The results demonstrated high enthusiasm and engagement among participants. Approximately 83% of participants understood the concept of simple bookkeeping, and 71% began implementing it regularly. Meanwhile, 91% of participants in the digitalization program successfully created active business accounts on digital platforms, with most experiencing increased sales performance. The key supporting factors for the program’s success included the strong motivation of participants, support from the local government and community, as well as the use of practical and contextual training methods.
